1. Subject

Libretto is an unofficial iPhone app that connects to LibreChat servers you specify yourself. Libretto is not affiliated with the LibreChat project. These terms apply to the use of the app. In addition, Apple’s standard license agreement for licensed apps (Apple Standard EULA) applies, as long as it does not conflict with these terms.

2. Free use for private purposes only

You may use Libretto free of charge for private, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use is only permitted with a license under section 3.

3. Commercial use

You use Libretto commercially if you use the app for work, as a freelancer, for a company, an authority or any other organization, even if the app is connected to an employer’s server.

  • Individuals can confirm commercial use in the app with the one-time purchase “Commercial use”. The purchase unlocks no features and only shows the badge “Commercially licensed” in the app. It applies to the person (Apple ID) who buys it.
  • Organizations can obtain a license for all their employees or their instance(s). Requests to sales@computeq.de. It is handled by invoice outside the app.

The app does not technically check the license. We rely on these terms being respected.

4. Voluntary thanks

In the app you can voluntarily contribute an amount (“Espresso”, “Cup of coffee”, “Pot of coffee”). This is a donation without consideration. It unlocks nothing and creates no claim. App Store purchases are processed by Apple; refunds follow Apple’s rules.

5. Your server and your content

Libretto only displays the page of a LibreChat server you enter; the app refuses other websites. You, or the operator of that server, are responsible for the server, its content, the AI services used through it and their costs, not us. Only enter servers you are allowed to use. Follow your employer’s rules if you use work servers.

6. Optional third-party services

For speech output you can enable OpenRouter with your own key. Answer texts are then transmitted to OpenRouter (see privacy policy). The terms of the respective provider apply.

7. Permitted use

You may not use Libretto for unlawful purposes, try to manipulate or circumvent the app technically, or use credentials of others that you are not authorized to use.

8. Warranty and liability

The free version of Libretto is provided as is, without warranty. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body and health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. We are not liable for content that originates from connected servers or AI services.

9. Changes

We may change these terms with effect for the future if the app or the law changes. The current version is available at this address and in the app.

10. Governing law

German law applies. For consumers this applies only to the extent that it does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you habitually reside.
